While sending quotations, deadlines are the most attractive and magnificent way to encourage your customers to act. We can put many benefits through these process. One and most important factor is the simulation because this demands the customers to act fastly otherwise they lost a good deal.  Another important advantage is that it allows your security in case you can achieve an order at a price that is not profitable for you.

 

Set Deadlines

 

While sending quotations, it is important to set a quotation deadline. Through these deadlines, you can achieve an order at a price that is not profitable for you.


Step1: Go to Sales ‣ Orders ‣ Quotations
Then Create a new quotations

 

 

Step2: On every quotation or sales order you can add an Expiration date

 

 

Use Deadlines In Your Quotation Templates

 

In a Quotation Template, we can set a default deadline. By setting this template in a quotation, that deadline is applied.


Step1: Go to Sales ‣ Configuration ‣ Quotation Templates

 

 

Step2: Then Create a new quotation template.

 

 

Step3: You can also set a default deadline in a Quotation Template. Each time when this template is used in a quotation, this deadline is applied.
